As we have said before this is certainly and by no means a new concept, it is however a thorough modernisation of what came before.
We had a Singles League in the West of Scotland run by some certainly more talented individuals than are around today in terms of flair, the league was used by them to train against and play each other in a more fun (depending on who you were) environment. In that bygone era the first three or so pools boasted the cream of the talent in the Scottish game.
This inception of the league is more for the players to both compete and to have fun based on your standard, no matter who you are or what level you play at, you WILL find a group of similarly skilled players. From the Internationally capped players in pool 1 to the casual players in pool 20, we have tried to cater for everyone and we think we might just have done an ok job
This time round we have used the internet to get the message out and make sure everything is viewable and up front, we had to put in rules as we all know badminton players are chancers, but as such the rules are fluid and have mostly been concocted by the players as we are all one big group and want to play fair with everyone! For the most part they are nothing more than some common sense.
