After 125 badminton matches the winners were crowned, they battled through the pools where we sprung a nice surprise. Top two made their way through to the knock out main with everyone else having a crack at our quickly improvised plate knock out event. David Craig quickly sprung into his element getting the crowd to pick the ties for this one using a random numbering system from what was oddly a very enthusiastical crowd.

Twenty dozen shuttles, 37 rolls and sausage later and we had our winners!

From this coming Sunday you can now book courts for Singles League matches on a Sunday. As the centre will be quiet we can basically have this as "our day" to work round the problem of not having enough courts during the week at night to play.

To give you an added incentive courts will be priced at £6.00 per hour so we are getting more of a discount on the hourly price of £7.30.

COURTS WILL BE BOOKABLE FROM 12:30-17:30 AS A TRIAL RUN

From November onwards anyone playing in the League will be able to purchase ONE tube of shuttles at the bulk discount price from E.G. Sports for use in their matches. In other words you can get cheaper shuttles. Watch out for our Partners shuttles coming in soon!

Because we have gone and registered as a Club we will now get Club rates on court bookings for our memebers.
